Kyle Ino is born and raised in Hawaii. After graduating from the University of Hawaii with a BA in Communications, Kyle has been a successful full-time artist since 1986. He exhibits in Hawaii art and craft festivals as a member of Pacific Handcrafters Guild and the Handcrafters and Artisans Alliance. He has also participated in several mainland art events. Kyle has been known for his porcelain ceramic jewelry, polymer clay artwork, raku ikebana vases, and most recently fused glass art jewelry. He likes to work with many different mediums in combination to create new work.
Kyle’s appreciation for Asian art, brush painting and Sogetsu Ikebana flower arranging is the inspiration for his creative endeavors. To create his fused glass jewelry, he uses beautiful art glass, dichroic glass, 22K gold lusters, glass enamels, 14K gold filled wire and sterling silver. He enjoys innovating new designs and production techniques. In fact, he is self-taught in mostly every aspect of his work. Kyle's goal is to create delightful jewelry that is simple, elegant and balanced. |
